Joe and I go back over 20 years together dating back to 1988. As young designers, we worked side-by-side
at GP&P Marketing Communications in Prospect, CT. Joe was the senior art director at the company, and I was
a graphic designer and managed Outback Graphics, the company's offering for customers on a budget and which
also provided pre-press services to other design firms in the area. I learned so much working with Joe, and
I'm proud to count him as my friend.

I left GP&P before Joe did, and we lost touch for many years. I learned later that he branched out on his

We were both glad to get back in touch with each other in September 2010. I took advantage of a bit of
down time to do some searching for some of my old friends at GP&P, and I managed to find Joe fairly easily
via Google. What a great phone reunion we had! After catching up on about 15 missing years, we discovered
that our career paths after GP&P ended up being very similar in many ways.
Today, we even have a business relationship, as I've been helping him with some SEO work for some of his
